Conrad Eldred Terrien, Dec. 14, 1920 to Oct. 14, 2011. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathleen Maura; infant grandson Kevin; parents Raphael and Florence; brothers Clayton and Donald, and sister Marcella. Survived by Richard (Mary Walker), Madison, WI; William (June), Downers Grove, IL; Kathleen Otto (Stephen), St. Paul, MN, as well as eight grandchildren: Anne and Eileen Terrien, Kelly (fiance Mark Tomaszewski), Patrick and Megan Terrien, and Sheila, Kathleen and Thomas Otto. Conrad was born in De Pere, WI, grew up in Muskegon, MI and graduated from the University of Detroit as a chemical engineer. He served as an officer in the Navy from 1944-1946. He was a prolific inventor and an entrepreneur all of his life, working primarily in the field of water treatment solutions. He was devoted to his family, his church and his community. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 8404 S. Cass Avenue, Darien, IL on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 10 a.m. with visitation preceding. Mass beginning at 9 a.m. Private burial at Abraham Lincoln Cemetery.

Marcella was especially loved as Kindergarten teacher at St. John Fisher School for 43 years. Donald Raphael "Don" Terrien, age 80, long time resident of Naperville, Illinois, proud and loving father of David (Diane) Terrien, Elizabeth (Kevin) Soper and Michael Terrien; dear grandfather of Colin, Christopher, Paige, John, and Allie; loving widower of Allegra "Dorie", nee Menish, Terrien; Don, a native of Muskegon, Michigan, was the son of the late Ray and Florence Terrien; and the brother of Conrad (Kathleen) Terrien, Marcella (George) Grady and the late Clayton (Muriel) Terrien. Don passed away April 11, 2007 at his daughter's home in Lutherville, MD following a series of debilitating strokes. He was employed for 39 years with Continental Can Company. Visitation Friday, 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. Services will begin Saturday, 10:30 A.M. from the funeral home and will proceed to an 11:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial at Ss. Peter & Paul Church, 36 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville. Entombment: Assumption Cemetery, Wheaton.

Obituary of Kathleen Maura Fitzgerald Terrien

Kathleen Maura Terrien, nee Fitzgerald, born Dec. 1, 1924. Died July 6, 2011. Preceded in death by her parents, William and Kathleen Fitzgerald; brothers John and Patrick Fitzgerald; sister Rosemary Morris; and grandson Kevin Terrien. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Conrad Terrien; and children Richard (Mary Walker), Madison, WI; William (June), Downers Grove, IL; and Kathleen Otto (Steve), St. Paul, MN; as well as eight grandchildren, Anne and Eileen Terrien, Kelly, Patrick and Megan Terrien, and Sheila, Kathleen and Thomas Otto; also survived by sister Sheila Fitzgerald, Mendota Heights, MN; and brother Michael (Lois) Fitzgerald, Mound, MN; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Kathleen grew up in Rochester, MN and graduated from Rosary College in River Forest, IL. She married Conrad in 1952, and spent the next years as a skillful and loving mother, homemaker and church volunteer. She resumed her work career in charge of the Chicago office of a market research firm, and continued to work in the field until her retirement. Kathleen greatly enjoyed spending time with family and most especially with her beloved grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial is at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2011 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 8404 S. Cass Avenue, Darien, IL

Muriel Theisen Terrien obituary:

Mrs. Muriel M. Terrien, age 89, passed away on Monday morning, February 18, 2013 at Heartwood Lodge Hospice Residence in Spring Lake, Michigan. She was born on August 14, 1923 in Detroit, Michigan to John and Leona (Boucher) Theisen. She had been a Registered Nurse at Hackley Hospital in Muskegon, and she was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Brunswick where she had previously been a church organist. On July 11, 1945 she married Clayton H. Terrien and together they owned and operated Terrien Orchards for 20 years. Clayton preceded her in death on August 6, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Audrey Draminski; by her brothers Eugene and Clement Theisen; and by her sister Gwendolyn Clarke. She is survived by eight children: Gregory (Barb) Terrien of Twin Lake, Monica (Scott) Graham of Lansing, MI., Stephen (Shirley) Terrien of Wisconsin, Martin (Cyndy) Terrien of Arizona, Demetrhea (Betsy York) of California, Patricia (Lester) Mackey of Texas, Andrew (Barbara) Terrien of Grand Rapids, Cecilia (John) Draminski of Lansing, MI.; her daughter-in-law, Marcey Terrien of Ann Arbor; 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; and one brother, Kenneth (Jean Marie) Theisen of Muskegon. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Brunswick (6382 S. Maple Island Road) with Fr. Roc Majalla as Celebrant. Interment will be in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery.
